A Qajar Tinned Copper Kashkul Beggar's Bowl, 19th Century.
An unusually large and finely engraved Qajar-period copper Kashkul, distinguished by its bulbous seed-like form and elevated pedestal base. The exterior is densely adorned with elegant floral scrolls and intricate vegetal motifs, punctuated by figural medallions depicting a seated noble figure holding a scroll, surrounded by deer, birds, and pavilion scenes — all set within lush foliage. A broad calligraphic band in elegant thuluth script encircles the upper section, featuring Persian poetry and religious invocations.
