INDIA/S. AFRICA COVERS TO 2/15 REGT. CO IN TAIWAN CAMP + TO S. AFRICAN POW IN KUCHING CAMP; 6 Aug. 1943 stampless "POW POST" env. (faults, mainly on reverse) from India to Col. C.M. Lane (former Commanding Officer of the Sarawak Defence Force) in "Taiwan Camp" with British censor octagon annotated as received on "1/7/44"; plus 30 July 1943 env. (worn along top & bottom edges affecting stamps) from Durban with S. Africa 3d+6d tied by cds addressed to Capt. Yates in "BORNEO CAMP" endorsed Air Mail and POW Mail with Durban censor label and Japanese "Borneo POW Camp" boxed purple censor. Exceptional pair; most mail to these POWs was from G.B.
