Covers and stamps inc. 1857 Rostock to Bordeaux with three TPO transit marks; 1859 Thurn & Taxis cover with Darmstadt datestamp; 1910 PPC of Oberammergau passion play with relevant slogan; 1942 registered cover Sarny (Ukraine) to Munich; 1985 registered Cold War cover rejected by East Germans as being anti-DDR. A selection of covers from colonies inc. 1911 registered from Kameroun with Yacht type optd to England; German East Africa selection with two PCs from Lindi to Mikindani & return written in Indian script also 1916 cover cancelled with Daressalam hs as the PO had run out of stamps and two 'locals' prepared but not issued. Post Offices in China with PPCs inc. 1901 sent Feldpost Tsinglau to Tientsin; 1899 PPC with mixed franking of Samoa & Marianen issues cancelled Apia. Also a range of stamp issues on leaves.
