He expresses pleasure at the account he has received of the festivities by the first Corps of the army evidently relating to the celebrations in honour of Napoleon's birthday on 15th August, and the show of harmony between the French soldiers and the Spanish population *Condition: Original light folds and light spotting in a very few places.
