Maritime memorabilia: A section of oak from the 18th century HMS Royal George battleship. This maritime relic has been carved into book form and applied with gilt inscriptions and decoration in relation to the Royal George’s recovery in May 1841. 4.5 in (11.3 cm) length. Condition report: Some wear with age with some losses to the gilt decoration.
