A mid Victorian silver four piece tea and coffee service of chased facet baluster form, the coffee and teapot with hinged domed covers, having bird of prey finials (not marked) and with scrolling handles, makers mark for Edward, Edward Jnr, John & William Barnard, London 1846, the coffee pot, 30cm h, the teapot 24cm w, total weight 71.5ozt.

In fair order, the chasing shows signs of polishing over the years and has become a little flat. The finials are not marked and have not been tested, they may be replacements.
