George V silver double opening cigarette case, Birmingham 1924, slightly curved form with vertilinear decoration, double opening to a gilt interior, 13cm x 8cm, weight approx. 198g
When closed there is a very slight depression to the double covers, both of which close tightly, with a button at either side of the case. They close flush. There appears to be a very small split to the edge of one of the covers (see image), this can be felt with a finger nail but does not appear to let any light through. Minor surface scratches consistent with age and use. Hallmarks are clear.
