A very fine, erotic, gold mounted snuff box.
The various cartouches with landscape and figures at leisure. The lid displaying a harbour scene with figures.
The lid opening to reveal a double lid, painted inside with two erotic scenes, and underneath a portrait of a noble lady. A young gentleman caught with his trousers half down encounters two frolicking maidens. In the second scene the maidens and he have become a ménage à trois.

In overall good condition. The top lid has had a slight overpainting and restoration.
