A 19th century Chinese blue and white jar, of rounded ovoid form, decorated with officials and attendants in formal fenced gardens, bats verso, four-character Kangxi mark to base, 38cm high, (later wood filled to the rim for electric lamp and cover lacking).
Provenance; bought back from Singapore in 1951 when our vendors parents returned from overseas service.
