A Chinese parcel gilt lacquered and carved bone and soapstone mounted four fold screen, late 19th century; the rectangular leaves together forming a figural scene to one side, with pavilions and trees in a walled garden; the borders embellished with inlaid mother-of-pearl; the lower register decorated with floral vases, a censer and other items; the reverse decorated more simply with birds in foliage; on metal clad feet; each leaf 177cm high, 40cm wide
