A Spanish 1895 cavalry sword, made in Toledo this sword was used by the Spanish Army during the Spanish American War. Examples of this issue would have been present at the battle of San Juan Hill. This issue of blade represented a transitional period in cavalry sword design, moving towards a straighter blade thereafter. With an unusual curved grip, complete with scabbard. In good condition.
