Ottoman: Five fine embroideries, being two towels, two towel ends, and one scarf, the first embroidered in pastel silks with silver metal detail; the second, smaller but in pastels and gold; the third much wider but only one half of a towel, with larger motifs in pale blue, white, and pink, with gold, and fringed; fourthly, a towel end border, with detailed work; and the scarf, approx. 220 cm long, with deep end panels, elaborate designs with exquisite work in pastel silks, resembling bunches of grapes on metal stems (5)
The first towel is badly nibbed in the plain centre. The second has a hole near to one border.
