A pair of substantial and distinctive gold cufflinks with gold-plated toggles. The rectangular faces have raised Chinese auspicious character and inset with jade type stone in symbolic lichen shape and engraved with symbol of good fortune. The posts are stamped 14K (acid test suggests purity between 10 and 14 carat), the toggles are gold-plated base metal. The rectangular faces 27mm x 17mm. Combined gross weight 13.3g.
