A Chinese white jade water pot, modelled as a bucket or tub, 19th century of inverted conical form, the stone of excellent even tone, 5.1cm diameter
Provenance - A. V. K. Murray collection
Natural inclusions to the stone, there are a few minute necks to the edge of the rim, otherwise in good condition. The wood stand has minute orange flecks in the grain so is probably zitan. It has a label inscribed ‘Collezione Prodan, Roma’.
