Early 20th Century French kingwood, walnut, marquetry and marble serpentine cabinet in the Louis XVI taste, the marble top over two short drawers with button handles flanking a pull out writing tray with inset green leather, canted corners flanking two cupboard doors with inlaid floral and swag design, on small cabriole legs with a shaped apron and ormolu mounts to shoulder, feet and escutcheons, the side panels inlaid and quarter veneered, 35½ x 19¾in. * Splits forming either side of writing tray, some loses to veneer throughout, right side door and right foot ormolu mounts are loose, marble top has been repaired after splitting through the middle and has three chips of 1cm.
