A 19TH CENTURY GEM-SET AND SEED PEARL BRACELET The openwork oval embossed plaque, decorated with floral and foliate motifs, set with scrolled lines of seed pearls, centring a rectangular-cut emerald, within a surround of faceted circular-cut garnets and rectangular-cut foiled-back green stones, reverse with similar pierced and engraved design, to a wide bracelet composed of baton-shaped motifs with reeded finish and woven circular hoop-connector links, maker's mark GK, length 17cm

Emerald of medium green hue, inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface fractures

Loss to green foil, wear to surfaces on green stones

Garnets deep red, transparent with some inclusions visible under 10 x magnification

A few seed pearls deficient, with normal signs of wear

Clasp stamped GK, date letter B, French assay mark of the swan and indistinct hallmark

Clasp closes securely

Normal signs of wear, overall on good condition

Yellow metal tested by the jewellery department to be between 9-10K gold

Total gross weight approx. 76g
