A NINETEENTH / TWENTIETH ORNATE DRESS SWORD, the handle and shell shaped guard is decorated with cut steel beading to give it the look and appearance of diamonds, it has a decorated blade and was made by Henry Pool & Company, who were based on Saville Row in London, they were sword manufacturers in the 19th and 20th century and still in existence now but the company are tailors, the sword blade fits nicely into a leather and metal scabbard, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request
