An Ethiopian Coptic prayer or incantation scroll, 19th c, Ge'ez manuscript in red and black ink on sheepskin, illuminated with four vignettes of Michael the Archangel, the Seal of Solomon, a Coptic Crucifix and a further geometric device, over four sheets tacked together, 160.5 x 8cm
Good condition, some light wear and very minor losses to pigments in places. Askew by nature of manufacture, some browning in portions but clearly legible.
