A 28 bore percussion target or duelling pistol, by Styan, Manchester, 15” overall, octagonal rifled twist barrel 9½”, with platinum line at breech and engraved “Manchester”; converted from flintlock with breech drum; the signed stepped bolted lock engraved with scrolls and sunburst; walnut halfstock with chequered saw handle flared butt, steel trigger guard with pineapple finial, GS mounts including engraved fore end cap and small flat butt cap, barrel wedge plates, and escutcheon, and brass mounted ebony ramrod.
