£380
An unused and intact 1976 Sex Pistols ticket, from the 400 Ballroom and Club Rock cancelled gig, Tuesday 5th October, 1976, No. 00073. 14cm x 7cm.
NB - This gig was due to take place in October, before the release of the first single Anarchy in the UK and the infamous TV appearance on Bill Grundy. This was the year most Sex Pistols gigs were cancelled and therefore very few tickets survived.
Provenance - From The Lionel Digby private collection.
Lionel Digby was a legendary music promoter in the 1960s and 1970s, in the South-West's music scene. His shows were legendary during this time with the likes of David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Cream, The Who and many more legends of the period playing in his shows. He became a vital part of any musician’s career when playing in the Dance Halls and venues on the circuit.
The ticket is in unused and intact condition. Very light and minor creasing to the corners. Excellent condition, considering it is over 45 years old.
