R.M.S. TITANIC: Important archive relating to Roger Bricoux, one of Titanic's cellists, aged 20, who died alongside his fellow band members including Wallace Hartley. The collection was obtained by the vendor during his research into Roger directly from his nephew.
Roger Bricoux 'missal' (prayer book), sold with a copy of a letter from his nephew together with a lock of his hair in an envelope marked, "Roger né en 1891" (Roger, born 1891). This was cut by his mother when he was a boy. Also included is Roger's prayer card from 1905. Roger travelled to Taggia, in Italy, when he turned 15 in 1905 for his First Communion. He brought both the missal and signed prayer card back with him. A strange coincidence sees this missal only offering dates until 1912. (3)
