Pair of French metal mounted porcelain pot pourri urns, circa 1900, each decorated in the Sevres style with panels of young courtiers in colours within gilt borders, domed covers with metal lions mask and ring handles raised on canted square bases, height 48cm
Some wear to the gilt detail on the covers. One vase has a 1cm hair crack to the base just under the Watteauesque panel. Some yellow nicotine staining. There is a slight bend to the metal stem taking the vase slightly out of vertical.
The other vase has wear to the gilt border of the main panel which carries a different signature to the first vase.
No further damage detected.
