A late 19th Century Wallesey Police Fire Brigade jacket. Of woollen construction with brass epaulets, buttons and number 86, the buttons showing the Wallesey coat of arms stamped National Fire Brigade Association, together with a Victorian ash truncheon, Metropolitan patant whistle, later Devon fire brigade helmet and a range of fire fighting related books including a Leyland fire engine manual and Manchester Fire Brigade by Robert F Bonner etc.
