1896 (June 17) Stampless cover to London endorsed "no stamps obtainable" with "TATI / MATABELELAND" c.d.s and octagonal "T/60c" postage due handstamp, single rate "6d / B.16" charge mark applied on the London & Plymouth T.P.O, London backstamp. A fine campaign cover, posted at Tati, located in the Bechuanaland Protectorate but under the control of the British South Africa Co. from 1894 until 1897. Photo on Page 78.
