Super Star Lot: An original antique very large oil on canvas painting after a 1694 painting titled 'Gaston de Foix Wearing his Armor' by Antoine Coypel Li. Features the famed French military commander during the Renaissance. Nicknamed the 'Thunderbolt of Italy' he was noted for his military feats in Italy in a career which lasted no longer than a few months. This is an accomplished piece with craquelure showing good age to painting. Housed in a molded gilt frame. This is a fabulous looking very imposing Oil Painting in a lovely large gilt frame in Very good condition.
