A Chinese bronze temple bell / bowl, Qing Dynasty, early 20th century, the hammered body with dark patina, 25 by 15cm, with red lacquered wooden stand, of circular form with four scroll legs, pierced and with gilt highlighted, bears paper label, 21 by 18.5cm, a square cushion, pale green with foliate damask pattern, 26 by 26 by 5cm, and striking gong, with turned red lacquered handle and felt covered end, 3.5 by 24.5cm. (4) Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
