1885 (Sep 28) Stampless cover from Lord Methuen serving with the Warren Expedition in Stellaland, to his wife at Muizenberg, apparently hand carried by a colleague to Cape Town where it was posted, initially charged 4d, increased to 6d upon redirection to Wynberg. An unusual cover, with datestamps of Cape Town, Muizenberg and Wynberg, minor staining, otherwise fine. Also an Ogdens Guinea Gold cigarette card of Methuen. Photo on Page 76
