"Aus L'instruction du roy en l'exercice de monter à cheval", Engraving, 12.5" x 16.5" (32 x 41.6cm), and another by the same hand, two (2) Notes: A master horseman he taught Louis XIII to ride. Many of his principles are still used today in the training of horses and riders in upper-level dressage. His teachings were compiled posthumously in 'Le Manège Royal', 1623, and in 'L'Instruction Du Roy En L'Exercice De Monter A Cheval', 1625
