Maling Wild Poppy pattern bowl, with internal purple ground, the exterior with a green ground, pattern 6191, 22cm; also a Maling Oxeye Daisies jar, with pink lustrous ground, pattern 6159F, height 16.5cm (2)
The jar has rubbing to the gilt around the rim and to the gilt line on the rim. This is consistent with having a cover, but we have no cover in this instance. There is slight rubbing to the gilt on the body.
No further damage.
The bowl in this lot has some wear to the gilt rim. Scratches and losses to the gilt in the centre of the bowl and to the gilt generally within the centre of the bow. There is slight crazing on the exterior, more noticeable around the lower part of the bowl. There is slight rubbing to the gilt line around the foot and to the gilt line around the top of the bowl. The odd light scratch is visible on the exterior. No further damage.
