A large polychrome Castelli faience plaque with a singer in front of Christ, God and the Virgin, Italy, 18th C.

Dim.: 42,5 x 29 cm

The text stemming from the singer's mouth is probably an excerpt from the medieval sequence Salve Virgo singularis.
Interestingly, the plaque also shows further Castelli wares, such as an albarello on a stemmed foot, a plate and a covered box.
