AN 1827 PATTERN RIFLE OFFICER's SWORD AND SCABBARD AND ANOTHER. A Rifle Officer's sword with an 81cm pointed and partially fullered blade with King's Crown above interlaced initials, and owners initials of 'P.H.K.', marked to the ricasso for Robert Mole, Birmingham, Makers to the War and India Offices, numbered M3008 to the back, with pierced guard decorated with a slung bugle, wire bound grip and domed pommel, in a plated scabbard with twin ring suspension. With a leather sword knot. 102cm. And a sword with a slightly curved 88cm sharpened and pointed blade with a primitive handle, 101cm. (2). *CR Blade nice, grip and scabbard showing signs of corrosion and light rust. Second in poor 'relic' condition.
