A George III twin-handled silver cup, Peter & Ann Bateman, London 1802, of typical form with banded girdle and twin scrolling handles on circular foot (possibly loaded), monogrammed initials, 14.3cm high, gross weight 11.47ozt
Signs of pitting visible to the rim and high points of handles. Some denting and light blemishes to the surface. Foot rim with very minor misshaping but still stands well when placed on a flat surface. Makers mark is partially legible. The initial engraving is rubbed.
