A 19th century style untested moonstone and split pearl locket back brooch, the heart shaped 'moonstone' within surround of split pearls surmounted by a split pearl bow, upon a yellow metal knife edge bar brooch with cultured pearl terminals, open to reverse with hinge pin, 3.5cm long, within fitted 'West and Sons, Dublin' box (at fault)

Brooch would benefit from a clean.
All split pearls are present and well matched in colour.
Some glue residue seen to pearl set terminals.
Minor surface scratches seen to 'moonstone'
Minor inclusion seen to reverse of 'moonstone' when viewed with x10 loupe.
Reverse of bar is scratched with numbers.
Hinge pin in good functional condition.
Split seen to removable locket back.
Box at fault.
