A VICTORIAN SILVER CLARET JUG
by Mappin & Webb Ltd, London 1901, after Cellini, chased with masks, animals and Classical ornament. 28cm high, 30.4 troy ounces
The marks on the neck are clear and well-struck. The hinged cover opens and closes well. The claret jug stands upright and does not wobble. In generally very good condition commensurate with age.
