An early 19th century mahogany stick barometer, the case with visible cane and boxwood strung head with lancet top, the unsigned, arched silvered dial with scale 27 to 31 and floral chased decoration, with turned cistern cover, 37 ½in. (95.25cm.) high, air bubbles in mercury. * There are some air bubbles trapped inside the mercury. Dial lacks top screw to fix to case. Case shows evidence of repolishing - some polish residue to dial.
