A Chinese export famille rose fencai ‘Imperial Hunt’ punch bowl, Qianlong period, finely painted with a continuous rustic landscape with Manchu noblemen performing archery, falconry, firing a musket and riding horses and a noble lady with her dogs outside a building, possibly depicting the Imperial Summer Villa and other buildings in the background at the Chengde Mountain Resort, 26.4cm diameter

Structurally good; patch of wear to black enamel and gilding at spear-head border; enamels to centre of bowl worn.
