Inside cover annotated "Simeon Hazlewood from his affectionate father Feb 1864". Journal starts on 6th Feb 1852 enlisting with the 94th Regt of Foot. Ending with John Hazlewood serving with 6th Brigade RA. An address in the back of the book 'Mr H Hazelwood No 6 Church Street, Hunslet, Leeds'. A truly fascinating lot which needs careful study.
