A Belgian 5 shot 7mm Loron self cocking pinfire revolver, c 1862, sighted octagonal barrel 105mm, stamped on left of the breech “LORON BREVETE” and number 2906, Liege proved, the breech, cylinder and frame inlaid with silver and gold scrolls, leaves and flowers, a lever on the left side swivels to allow the barrel and cylinder to slide forwards for loading and ejecting, with folding trigger and steeply angled butt with plain ebony grips.
