Dan Welldon, Penguin Colony with Albatross, Cuverville Island, Antarctica 2014, 8/15, signed and numbered, framed, 64.5cm x 92cm overall
This was the extraordinary scene that I captured on my first morning on the Antarctic peninsular. Greeted by a colony of Gentoo penguins, the occasional chinstrap penguin and a dark-mantled Albatross flying overhead, it was like arriving in a garden of Eden on another planet.
