19THC CHINESE CANTONESE LIDDED JAR. A large 19thc lidded jar, with shaped panels painted with a court figure and attendants, and alternating panels of birds and flowers. With further smaller panels to the shoulder of the jar and lid. 43cms high.
Lid, small firing cracks to the finial from manufacture, chip to the side of the rim and fritting.
Jar, seems generally fine with some wear to the rim and base.
