Reverse: Leonard Charles Wyon's seated Britannia with shield and trident, the date (1902) below and 'ONE PENNY' around. The sea line on this variant falls lower than usual, closer to the hem of Britannia's dress, whereas, on standard Pennies of this date, it falls closer to the point where her legs cross. Edge: plain.
