An exceptional and large Charles II pewter octagonal-base and knopped candlestick, circa 1675
Having a large cylindrical socket, a bold baluster-knop stem, and domed octagonal drip tray on an octagonal trumpet base, with a border of low-relief vine decoration, and with soldered edging strips to the underside, apparently unmarked, height 25.2cm, socket diameter 4.2cm, base diameter 18.2cm
