2nd Royal Lancashire Militia (The Liverpool Linnets) Officers post 1854 pouch belt plate. Fine scarce facetted silver eight pointed star mounted with gilt crowned circlet bearing green enamelled palm sprays; to the centre, the red enamelled rose of the House of Lancaster. Two screw posts. One or two ball tips absent. VGC These plates were officially converted from the unit's previous rectangular shoulder belt plates when retitled Duke of Lancaster's Own Rifles in 1854. Provenance.
