A carved stone Moonhead sculpture by Nicholas Tandi. Tandi created a series of Moonhead sculptures to tell the legend of a Zimbabwean King, who wanted to capture the moon so ordered his people to build a tall tower to reach it. The tower collapsed, killing many, and the King was deposed. For the Shona people the moon reminds them never to reach for the impossible. H 17cm, W 20cm.
