R.M.S. TITANIC: Exceptional lithographic poster of Titanic and Olympic, circa 1910-1911. This superb image is the most iconic example of White Star Line promotional imagery for the Titanic and would have been used in travel agents and White Star Line offices to advertise the Titanic and Olympic. After the Titanic disaster their posters were withdrawn from service and destroyed which explains why there are only a handful in existence today. This particular poster is in extraordinary condition with the colours as fresh as when seen in 1912. It was created by Montague Birrel Black, one of the foremost marine artists at the turn of the 20th century. The poster is framed and presented with museum grade UV non-reflective glass and measures 24ins. x 39ins.
