1887 Penny, Victoria (Freeman 125, S.3954). Graded NGC MS64 RB, about uncirculated. A patch of rubbing in the reverse field before Britannia and some scuffs behind. Unlike so many coins of the mid to late 1880's this coin does not suffer from the mottled lustre so often encountered. An attractive coin with rich tone, particularly to the reverse.
