Socket bayonet of unusual design, the socket is only 3/4 complete and has a clamp attached, which is tightened by a circular key, to grip the barrel. In its leather scabbard with a frog, with wire attachment similar to the P17 belt clip. Triform blade 17", inspection mark to ricasso crown, over "B" over "47" and the letters "E Dt", possibly British ? Experimental model ??
