A Regency penwork sarcophagus games box, the hinged cover decorated with playing cards, brass leafy scroll feet, 12cm high x 29cm wide, c.1820
Chipped and cracked paint on box, whilst some areas have been painted over, the fitted interior is missing the card holders you would typically get in a game box, also the felt lining inside has become loose, in need of professional attention. Lock and key don’t work, hinges in working order and the box does not fall flush on table
