German Third Reich Kriegsmarine Officer's Dagger and knot by WKC. Good example circa 1938-45, the fullered plated blade etched either side with fouled anchor foliate panels; maker's knight helm logo impressed on the forte. Gilded brass eagle and swastika pommel and fouled anchor ornamented cross-guard; wire bound amber celluloid twist grip; complete with locking-catch and release button. Housed in gilt metal lightening bolt scabbard with oak leaf bands retaining two loose rings and complete with silver aluminium wire portepee (knot) with some wear. Gilt worn to brass, minor service wear. GC
