LOCAL LONDON LETTER WITH OVAL "TRANSPORT OFFICE/P.O.W." MARK RECEIVED EX SARRE LOUIS; 23 Nov. 1813 EL (superb French watermarks) from a British POW in the "Sarrelouis" Camp/Depot to London where it arrived on 8 Jan. 1814 (General & Local Post backstamps) with h.s "2[d]" charge-mark and a mainly very fine triple-oval "TRANSPORT OFFICE/[Crown]/G.R/PRISONERS OF WAR" mark (very light fold at top) on the front.
